Stoop Wedding Amid Covid-19 and BLM protests

Thanks to Covid-19, I haven’t had any photography assignments or worked on any personal projects since March 2020. Surprisingly I received an email for an opportunity to shoot a stoop wedding in Brooklyn on June 6th - literally right around the corner from a BLM protests happening at the Barclays Center (as well as protests happening in the other boroughs). I always say NO to wedding assignments but after a chat with the soon-to-be married couple, I learned that it would be held in front of their home, guest attendance limit to 10 people and the rest will be able to view it through Zoom. This would be a very unique, interesting and special way to document a wedding, not to mention safe, so I agreed to do it and I’m glad I did.

Congratulations Min Joo and Dennis!

Here are a few of my fav selects from the wedding.
