THE OBJECTIVE IS BEING AUTHENTIC AND ORGANIC DRIVEN USING THE STUDIO FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AND CLOSE-UP PORTRAITS THAT WILL BE TIMELESS. NOT SEARCHING FOR IT TO FEEL OVERPRODUCED - INSTEAD VERY WARM, CANDID AND INVITING. THIS IS JUST A SIMPLE PORTFOLIO SHOOT WITH SOME PLAY ON NATURAL LIGHTING AND SOME CONCEPTUAL IDEAS
THE PHOTO SESSIONS WILL BE PHOTOGRAPHED WITH DIGITAL CAMERAS.
ANALOG/FILM FORMATS (35mm + 120) ARE ADD-ON COST.

[BEAUTY]

 FOCUSING ON YOUR OWN NATURAL BEAUTY 

  • Be comfortable arriving with very light/natural makeup
  • A little concealer, mascara, brow maintenance, and lipstick are all it’s needed
  • If model wants to put some eyeshadow on, keep it natural
  • Blemishes will be retouched unless told otherwise

[HAIR]

AS NATURAL AS POSSIBLE IDEALLY 

  • If you have straight hair, feel free to give it a blowout
  • If you have curly hair just do what makes your hair look best.

[STYLING + WARDROBE]

2-3 LOOKS / COMBO

RULE OF THUMB: SIMPLER IS BETTER

***This is just a general outline to help guide you in the direction for the shoot***

  • Bring nude+black underwear/undergarments
  • Neutral color pieces and aesthetically classic, it will provide longevity to the image
  • Earth tone solid colors or anything similar from the provided mood board always helps
  • White and black are always good options as it is a blank canvas
  • Basic tanks and t-shirts: form fitting
  • Denim pants: fitted + oversized, distressed, ripped
  • Oversized clothing: button-up shirts, blazers/jackets, sweaters
  • Classic outerwear: fitted + oversized blazers/jackets
  • Gender-ambiguous clothing items (non-form fitting)
  • You are most likely pulling from your own wardrobe, so use your best style judgement

Studio Entrance

[THE MODEL RELEASE AGREEMENT]

We need a signed model release in order for us to give you any pictures from your shoot. This is not a contract, it simply spells out your rights as a model and confirms that I own the copyright to the photos. If you're 18 or older you can sign the model release yourself at the time of your shoot. If you are under 18 a parent must sign the model release in addition to the model. If you're under 18 please print the release, show it to your parents and have them sign under witness.
